This is the promotional painting for the movie Brothers. It was filmed in Wisconsin a few miles from my home. The 3 brothers are approached by a developer who wants to buy their farm. They must choose to sell or keep the family farm.

I love this picture. It reminds me of home where I grew up, the faces are so familiar and generalized enough that it could be my brother...sort of a symbol of the plight of current humanity. 1. getting down to our roots. 2. recognizing we are all brothers and sisters together.
This is such an departure for you it seems, depicting masculine subject matter - as in adult males. And interestingly enough, they are not feminized, even with the relatively feminine skin tones - which are reminiscent of Modigliani, to me. I bet you use a lot of the cadmium colors, reds and yellows, as he did, right? And what is the size of the original, by the way? Lblock9
