This is the final book cover for a series. The figures are based on mythology. While painting my version I looked at the mural painting of them from Pompeii.

Brothers

This is the promotional painting for the movie Brothers. It was filmed in Wisconsin a few miles from my home. The 3 brothers are approached by a developer who wants to buy their farm. They must choose to sell or keep the family farm.

New Haircut

Here I am a few days ago with a new haircut. For years I've had long hair. In August, September and October several new projects will be published and hopefully a new website.

Someone pointed out to me she doesn't know how to write on a blog. You click below the image on comments, it's pink or blue. That takes you to where you write a comment. You do not have to be a member, which is how it usually is on the blogs. From what I've seen anyway.

Diversity in Wisconsin

This is an unpublished painting created for a newspaper article. Later this week when I have more energy 3 or 4 recent paintings will be added.

I'm back, more art work coming soon, this week or next.

Recently, I've been going through things I haven't looked at in a long time, along with it getting rid of several boxes of stuff. Like a lot of Americans I have too much stuff and not enough money. ha. In a couple of months, when it's cooler I'll be moving to another city.

There are a few projects I've been working on this summer. A couple of illustrations will be coming out in August, a cover for a literary book this fall, a poster for a film, more paintings...So far there are a couple of projects planned for the winter too.

Next week-end I'm going to be working at an art fair in Madison and visiting with some friends. It will be a lot of fun. One of the perks working there is free food coupons. A gal's got to have fun, guy's too.
